Ingredients:
-1 ½ Tablespoons dried lavender flowers, ground into small piece
-½ cup cane sugar
-1 ½ Tablespoons raw coconut oil
Using body scrubs is one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences. There are tons of great natural options out there now but it’s also really easy to make your own with just 3 ingredients!
I love adding lavender to this scrub because lavender is known to have relaxing aromatherapy benefits. [1] It can be helpful to calm anxiety, promote sleep and reduce headaches. I particularly think this is a great scrub to use in the bath right before bed. Stand up in your bathtub and massage into dry skin. Then soak! The lavender and coconut oil will infuse in your bath water which will help to moisturize your skin and relax you even further. [2]
If you don’t have lavender flowers, a couple of drops of lavender essential oil will work too.
